POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Vice President for bswift is responsible for selling bswift enrollment technology and benefits administration products and services to prospective customers in an assigned geography. The Sales Vice President will work with employers and consultants in the large group market, proposing solutions to their benefits administration needs.

Fundamental Components

  • Represent bswift technology and benefits administration products and services to prospective customers in the large group market
  • Cultivate strong, productive and influential relationships with brokers and consultants, customers, and peers focusing on larger or more complex accounts and prospects.
  • Implement strategies necessary to attain sales objectives in assigned areas.
  • Manage complex negotiations and position products, rate levels, and expanded product portfolios to increase sales and maximize revenue.
  • Manage the integration of clients and bswifts internal organizations to meet clients installation needs and close the deal.
  • Provides expertise in difficult renewals. Collaborates with account management and underwriting for renewals on assigned book of business.
  • Identifies various ways to partner with the client by drawing from entire spectrum of product line. Gains understanding of clients multifaceted needs and recommends appropriate benefits of bswifts full product array of enrollment technology and service capabilities
  • Provides effective presentations to customers and Aetna constituents

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

  • Eight or more years industry experience in a sales position
  • Experience selling benefits administration products or insurance products to employee benefits departments in the large group (over 3,000 employees) employer market
  • Experience navigating complex selling situations involving senior level employee benefits managers, procurement, compensation and finance, IT and consulting firms

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
