About the Role
Uber Freight connects shippers with truckers, much like the way the Uber connects riders and drivers. The Uber Freight team believes that empowering truck drivers will bring more open, efficient, and increasingly safer transportation to our roads. We are a team of sharp, entrepreneurial individuals who are redefining the movement of goods around the world.
Uber Freight is looking for an Account Manager to help develop processes and system improvements that continuously set a higher standard. This individual will participate in the development, implementation, and automation of critical business processes and track the sales process, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance. They will work with customers to continuously seek new solutions for their logistics challenges and handle any issues that may arise.
What You'll Do

  • Develop process and system improvements to continually raise the bar of execution
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and automation of critical business processes and tools to record the sales process, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics
  • Work with customers to continually seek new solutions for their logistics challenges
  • Handle any issues that come up in the normal operation of freight movement
  • Be able to speak to core operational and growth metrics with the management team
  • Serve as a partner to our sales team anticipating challenges and presenting solutions to support Uber Freight's business objectives
  • Be inventive, creative, and get things done

Basic Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree
  • 2+ years or equivalent experience in a professional experience focused on process and operational improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Logisitics or freight experience
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems under pressure
  • An innovative mindset focused on doing things better, faster, more efficiently
  • Zendesk proficient
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Ability to collaborate and work with a highly diverse set of customers, transportation partners, and internal partners
  • Passion for the service needs of our customers and transportation partners
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution
