Account Management at eSpark

The Account Manager coordinates the efforts of others to ensure students in our partner districts are learning at their level, we have multiple champions of our work in each account, and we have proactive budget discussions to expand our impact.  
Expectations

As an Account Manager, you will be expected to achieve assigned renewal and expansion sales goals within assigned partners through:

  • Vision - Develop a vision for successful district partnerships and manage/align the right eSpark resources to make that vision a reality and best serve partner needs
  • Relationships - Develop and manage relationships with key decision makers and influencers at school districts
  • Funding - Research the state and district funding landscape and work with the various decision makers to unlock funding to expand our partnerships

Travel is expected about 2 days a week on average. We’re looking for candidates with at least two years of account management experience.

You will be successful if you can bring:

  • Relationship Building. You are personable. You listen well. Your actions match your words so when you make a promise you keep it. As a result, people like, trust and rely on you.
  • Client/Project Management skills. You can organize and lead a project by influencing and coordinating the actions of people outside your direct control - inside the organization and out.  
  • Proactive personality. You have a preference to create and control a situation rather than react to events. You are assertive and know when to push.  
  • A passion for education and strong desire to use your skills to change the world!
