Job Description:10th Magnitude is looking for a Sales and Operations resource who has proven experience in a solution provider with multiple vendor resell relationships. The role is a combination of operations administration, channel/vendor management, and sales. The ideal candidate will have held roles in Sales or Alliances at a VAR, LAR, LSP, CSP, or SSP. Knowledge of Microsoft channel programs such as CIF, PIE, AGF, and especially CSP is a huge plus as well as familiarity with Palo Alto, Kemp, Docker, Chef, Hashi, RedHat, Citrix, and Cisco.
The Alliance Sales Manager will own the alignment between 10M and our portfolio of strategic alliance partners. The mission is to drive product resell and referral revenue to the business by tapping into the sales, marketing, and delivery capabilities of these partners enabling them to effectively position the value of our joint solutions to prospects and bringing 10M into qualified opportunities. 
Responsibilities:

  • Foster sales alignment between Alliance sellers and 10M sales and engineering teams
  • Ongoing evangelization and education of 10M capabilities to Alliance field teams through 1:1 and 1: many outreach
  • Supporting field marketing in demand generation and execution of local and virtual events
  • Maintain a rhythm of the business with each partner’s alliance managers, sales management, and practice leads. This includes pipeline management, orchestration of sales resources, and reporting.
  • Field level oversight of strategic partner programs that we are participating in or that we are developing internally
  •  Supporting 10M sales teams on sales opportunities for items such as sales rep mapping, SME access, pricing/funding requests, and competitive assistance
  •  Having a pulse on local market dynamics, competitive landscape, opportunities, and challenges and providing structured feedback and data driven recommendations to executive management.
  • Building, executing, and managing transaction processes and systems to ensure that we are capitalizing on Alliance efforts through product resell

Qualifications:

  •  Experience in Partner Sales & Alliance management at a solution provider with a software resell business
  • Experience formulating a partnership vision, strategy, and execution plans in sell-to / sell-through / sell-with relationships.
  • Domain knowledge in Cloud Services ( IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
  • Proven experience starting from scratch to develop, negotiate and structuring complex deals
  • Great at execution: results-driven, detail-oriented, hands-on, organized self-starter
  • Fun to work with, excellent at teamwork and cross group collaboration
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills and proficiency with communications tools (PowerPoint, Skype, Teams, Excel, PowerBi, CRM)
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and passion for technology
