Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full service interactive advertising agency, is looking to hire an Associate Manager, Copywriting and Content Strategist into the Customer Experience team. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated individual contributor that is excited about joining the growing Customer Experience department and contributing professionally to an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base

 

Summary and Scope

 

The Associate Manager, Copywriting and Content Strategist will collaborate with Creative, SEO, Social Media, Digital Strategy, Analytics and other teams to conceptualize and develop compelling and engaging content marketing strategies and materials.
We are looking for a candidate with strong written communication skills and an innovative approach to content creation across a variety of media and channels. The Associate Manager, Copywriting and Content Strategist will be responsible for researching, creating, writing, managing and executing copy and content strategies that will grow clients’ brand awareness and engagement.

Responsibilities

 

  • Work as part of an integrated team—creative, social media, digital strategists, account executives, SEO analysts and more—to understand client goals, craft meaningful insights, and develop effective integrated marketing strategies, concepts and content across all marketing channels
  • Develop strategies, concepts and content for a wide variety of projects, including but not limited to social media, email, display advertising, webpage copy, white papers, case studies, sales presentations, and video scripts
  • Determine the most effective media and design to meet the goals and objectives of each project
  • Update existing content to deliver even greater value
  • Ensure deliverables are consistent in quality, tone, and style
  • Act as a brand steward, ensuring all messaging and copy is within brand voice and editorial guidelines
  • Comprehend brand and marketing data and transform it into selling messages that resonate with target audiences
  • Understanding personas of clients’ target audiences and aligning content to each point in the customer journey
  • Manage project plans, deadlines, budgets and scope
  • Create video and other multi-media content
  • Conduct research as needed to create compelling content
  • Write in numerous tones and voices
  • Maintain high competencies in the evolving brand as publisher landscape

 

Required Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, creative writing, communications or related field
  • 6+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in an agency environment; digital marketing experience preferred
  • Strong storytelling ability and excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with B2B & B2C copywriting
  • Experience with social media including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Vine, Instagram, blogs and other media
  • Portfolio illustrating the ability to develop integrated campaigns with engaging copy and content; digital portfolio preferred
  • Organized, collaborative, service oriented
  • Detail-oriented is a must
  • Thrives in fast-paced environment, adaptable to change, undaunted by deadlines
  • Positive “can do” attitude
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency to bring projects to closure in a timely manner
  • Can work independently
