Business Development Associate
Accelevents is a mobile fundraising and event ticketing technology platform. We help our clients raise more money through cutting edge fundraising technology offered at an affordable price, and combine that with our full service event ticketing platform.
Accelevents is a small but rapidly growing startup and is looking for someone to help continue and accelerate our sales growth. We are seeking a sales professional to help identify and qualify leads, while also closing business. Compensation will include both a base salary and aggressive commission component.
The role’s primary responsibilities will include:
Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and generating leads to closing business
Presenting Accelevents' capabilities to fundraising and event ticketing clients
Scheduling and executing platform demos for prospective clients
Building and managing a sales pipeline
Growing successful client relationships from initial contact to point of sale, focusing on both individual and enterprise engagements
Fielding and responding to incoming client inquiries regarding use of platform
Desired Qualities:
Bachelor's degree
1+ years of sales experience
Prior training from and experience at SaaS companies is a major plus
Self-starter with a desire to work in a startup environment
Amazing client management, business communication and relationship building skills
Find comfort in working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Aggressive, competitive and committed
Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
