Business Development Manager (ex Internal Wholesaler or Financial Services background)
PreScouter is seeking a Business Development Manager with prior experience in the financial services industry. Candidates may include former (or current) Internal Wholesalers with experience selling mutual funds, for example.

The Role:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a senior sales function that will be responsible for contributing to the growth of PreScouter’s Financial Services industry segment.
Responsibilities:
Consulting with VP and C-level executives to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by PreScouter services
Develop and grow accounts by finding and developing new buying centers
Quota responsibilities aligned with specific industry segment
Develop strategy for industry territory and specific strategic accounts
Forecast revenue on monthly/quarterly/annual basis
Develop and contribute vertical knowledge to assigned territory
Fiscal responsibility with regards to expense management
Desired Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years sales experience in consultative sales, preferably in selling financial services
Extensive experience in business development and prospecting
Ability to prospect and manage C-level and senior level relationships within large multinational organizations
Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business
Excellent written and oral presentation skills
Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process, from prospecting to renewal
Bachelor's degree from a 4 year university
