Business Development Manager - Hunter
Affinitiv is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Field Sales team. As a BDM, you will manage and expand dealership relationships and grow our dealership base in our markets. In this role, you will report to the Regional Vice President. This is a HUNTER position with autonomy to leverage relationships through high activity. Affinitiv encourages an entrepreneurial mindset combined with a defined process that will ensure success. Primary support services include execution of work projects/items within assigned region and proper hand-off to account managers. Compensation, when quota achieved, is well above industry standard and has NO cap. Highly favor some or all of the below items:
- Past Presidents Club or equivalent aware winner multiple years
- References from past direct reports
- Documented Top 10% in sales yearly
- Accredited sales development program achievement
- 30-60-90 days business plan completed before face to face interview
What you'll do:
- Retain customers by providing proactive consultative services and ensure usage of and increase utilization of all Affinitiv products and services
- Regularly analyze the overall health of clients, identifying areas for improvement and new opportunities for leverage Affinitiv products
- Grow your customer base, upselling and finding new business opportunities
- Understand your market which includes knowing the number of franchises and independent dealerships in your territory, prospecting new customers, and know the competition & be aware of their penetration in your marketplace. Learn the dealership association groups in your territory
- Have excellent knowledge of all Affinitiv solutions
- Follow necessary processes using NetSuite and Salesforce.com
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of sales experience, automotive experience helpful
- Chicagoland Auto Dealership contacts & experience is a big plus
- Experience with exceeding monthly and annual quota responsibility
- Consultative sales approach, outstanding account management and ability to build strong relationships
- Organized and excels at time management
- Goal and sales oriented, Natural willingness to learn
- Passion for the business and industry
- Ability to travel as much as needed for your territory
