The Role:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a senior sales function that will be responsible for contributing to the growth of PreScouter’s High-Tech team.

Responsibilities:

  • Consulting with VP and C-level executives to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by PreScouter services
  • Develop and grow accounts by finding and developing new buying centers
  • Quota responsibilities aligned with specific industry segment
  • Develop strategy for industry territory and specific strategic accounts
  • Forecast revenue on monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Develop and contribute vertical knowledge to assigned territory
  • Fiscal responsibility with regards to expense management

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years sales experience in consultative sales, preferably in selling an intangible solution.
  • Extensive experience in business development and prospecting
  • Ability to prospect and manage C-level and senior level relationships within large multinational organizations
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process, from prospecting to renewal.
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year university
