Requirements

Position Overview:

You will be out on the front lines growing the retail lottery estate in independent stores and small chains. You will help build our network's reach to make play easier and more convenient for our players and customers. You will be selling to owners and proprietors and helping them complete application packets to get them licensed and trading.

You will need to be organized and self-motivated to achieve your goals. Activities will include phone calls, emails, appointment setting, utilizing data and tools like google maps to identify prospects within specific geographic areas.

You need to be a fast learner and have the ability to think on your feet. Someone with a competitive edge and who is great at building relationships will fit this role well.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, qualifying, relationship building, and other sales techniques within our core target audience.
  • Display a thorough understanding of assigned targets and Camelot’s competitive advantages.
  • Listen to, identify and understand prospects’ viewpoints and tailor communication to meet prospect needs and expectations.
  • Meet and Exceed targeted goals.
  • Be the market expert: gather retailer feedback, monitor competitor activity, marketing opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement to management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with selling to independent retail, preferably in Consumer Package Goods (CPG).
  • Proven history of generating new business.
  • High level of self-discipline for daily sales activities like phone/email outreach, setting appointments, researching prospects, and tracking leads throughout the sales cycle.
  • Experience using a consultative approach to solve problems.
  • Proven skills in networking, meeting people and building relationships.
  • Collaborative and a team player, yet also able to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Good communicator: strong writer, listens well, speaks articulately, and comfortable leading presentations.
  • Strong research, analytic, presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Results-and detail-oriented
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced performance driven environment
  • The ability to work in a team environment and follow proven processes
  • Learns quickly, naturally looks for ways to contribute, and shows a high degree of responsibility.
  • A full Driving license, Your own car and a smartphone connected to the internet

Benefits

  • Contract position 3-6 months
  • $2,500 monthly installments ($2,000 base salary and $500 for out of pocket expenses)
  • Commissions: Each employee will earn $100 per new application submitted in full to Camelot Illinois for processing, $100 approved application, $50 once the retailer is trading
