We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated tele sales professional to make outgoing B2B calls and set appointments for the Vice President of Sales in our new Palatine satellite office (located directly across from the Northwest suburban train line). Our ideal candidate will also have Salesforce experience.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to a select targeted list for a new brand new industry service.
- Maintain a quota responsibility of generating qualified sales-ready leads.
- Minimum average of 50 outbound contacts per day.
- Maintain an understanding of competitor’s products.
- Conduct high level conversations necessary to properly evaluate a prospect’s potential.
- Ensure complete and timely coverage of all marketing leads generated from: web site, email campaigns and trade shows.
- Engage potential clients, influencers and decision makers through warm calling (partner clients).
- Spend the majority of time speaking with gatekeepers and intermediaries to build trust and credibility with the prospect in order to win the right to engage.
- Assist in tracking leads to their close.
- Liaise with marketing team to qualify prospects and optimize lead generation / campaign initiatives.
- Utilize Salesforce.com as the system of record for all activities including appointment setting related activity.
- Maintain best professional operating practice in accordance with the Company’s policies.
Qualifications
- Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven appointment setting or outbound tele marketing experience, preferably in the ecommerce or digital marketing industry with emphasis on generating new business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills with the ability to comfortably initiate phone contact with prospects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a close team environment.
- Ability to understand and grasp product knowledge is required.
- Salesforce knowledge a plus.
