Catering Sales Manager
Square Roots Kitchen is a fast casual tech-enabled restaurant serving healthy but delicious meals out of its first location at 120 S Halsted. Already boasting a sizable catering business through channel partners, SRK is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to gain new business through direct relationship management.
The Catering Sales Manager will be expected to perform regular new outreach, log that contact in a CRM, follow up, and help with samplings and demonstrations for new customers. For larger orders, the Catering Representative will be expected to help in first delivery and continue to maintain the relationship for repeat orders. This is a great position at a growing company with expansive growth opportunities available.
Experience in the following areas is expected:
- Direct sales outreach in a B2B setting
- CRM usage
- Customer service, particularly with regards to B2B sales and food service
- Network with contacts in Chicago business preferred
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Direct outreach, by phone, email, and in-person, to Chicago businesses/companies to drop SRK Catering Menus and identify/engage with Catering Coordinators responsible for Catering Sales
- Determine customer catering needs, answer questions about SRK catering products/services and recommend custom catering menus for lunch and business mixers
- Provide prompt and efficient responses to customers, identify customer needs, create solutions and ensure a positive sales experience
Salary and Compensation
- Base salary plus commission with expense account included
