Important Characteristics
- Outbound sales activity to digital, IT and business influencers at B2B and B2C target companies to get meetings
- Follow-up on inbound leads from marketing campaigns, events and web/social channels
- Appointment setting and tag team with senior sales execs to advance sales deals
- Gather data and actively listen to prospective clients to see which of our services could be of value to them
- Research target accounts so you are up-to-speed on their business strategies and digital plans
- Capture activities and key information in Salesforce
- Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of new business development activity to achieve goals
- Keep up-to-date on changes in the Digital Transformation industry
- Ability to be a team player and work with others
Required Skills and Education
- 4 year Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience in outbound sales activity
- Friendly, articulate and energetic communications skills
- Self-driven, highly motivated, desire for success
- Coachable and collaborative
- Professionally aggressive and persistent
- Very organized and diligent
- Good written messaging skills (emails, social, presentations, etc)
Preferred Skills
- Perseverance in meeting goals and quotas
- No hesitation making cold-calls, cranking out emails and prospecting
- Comfortable creating rapport and building relationships to keep in touch with key contacts
- Some understanding of Digital / Technology trends, solutions and players
- Exposure with web-based research tools including social platforms (LinkedIn)
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Exposure to CRM system, such as Salesforce, Marketo, etc
