The Account Executive role is an Outside Sales Representative role (OSR). This role is for individuals who can qualify new sales opportunities and work them to close throughout the country for Cyber Security related Consulting Services, Managed Services and Enterprise Software Products.

As an important part of our sales and marketing organization, OSRs understand the prospect’s business challenges and takes qualified sales opportunities from first appointment to close. They also supplement SDR prospecting efforts through phone, email, and LinkedIn contact, when needed, to ensure they meet weekly sales activity goals. They drive revenue through pipeline management, foster relationships with the business and partner communities, and uncover business challenges that Sath works to solve.

Working in collaboration with the SDR, the OSR’s primary objective is to run qualified sales meetings and demos, uncover the prospect’s pains, needs, and challenges, propose solutions, and close opportunities.

They’re required to follow the entire sales process, including the multi-touch profiling and prospecting campaign process, as laid out in the Sath Sales Playbook.

Job Functions:

  • Effectively interact with decision makers via telephone, email, and LinkedIn by serving as a resource to prospects
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of Sath’s products and solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition
  • Aggressively identify qualified sales opportunities nationwide
  • Qualify new prospect opportunities via email, telephone calls and online research to ascertain challenges, interest level and appropriate next steps
  • Outbound prospecting within target accounts, including mapping organizations and contacting executives
  • Run 4 qualified sales meetings per week, taking 2 to proposal, and closing 3 opportunities per month
  • Conduct product demos and prepare sales meeting materials such as solution proposal, presentations and product/solution walkthroughs
  • Develop proposals, statement of work and other required documentation to complete the sales process
  • Engage and work with Service Delivery team for solutioning
  • Work with client supply/procurement, legal and various other departments to ensure all required stakeholders are engaged during opportunity close process
  • Work with internal Sales Operations and Accounting teams to ensure smooth processing of closed opportunities.
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity and closed sales targets

Requirements:

  • Must have proven experience in selling Cyber Security Services, Managed IT Services or Identity Management Services and Products in enterprise and mid-market segments
  • Must be technology savvy and have proven track record of building key relationships with CxO decision makers
  • Must have proven 3-5 years experience in an outside sales role and consistently met or exceeded quota
  • Must have worked for a small (non-enterprise or large business) and enjoyed the small company culture and everything that comes with it!

Compensation and Benefits 

  • $70k base + variable earnings of commission and bonuses; OTE $150k
