We're doing this by making insurance fast, responsive, and focused on our customer - startup founders. Instead of printed PDF applications and week-long waits, Vouch is building new technology to solve real problems, writing policies that actually cover relevant startup scenarios, and designing simple experiences in an otherwise frustrating industry.
Role Responsibilities:
As the leader of our Sales and Success functions at Vouch, you will be responsible for owning a new kind of insurance sales and service experience. Vouch’s clients are high-growth companies, so this role will be as much about driving new business results as it will be about delivering unparalleled service in serving the needs of our fastest-growing clients.
Job Duties:
Manage and recruit a highly collaborative and rapidly growing team
Own the conversion of new clients from marketing and partner qualified leads
Create the unique service capabilities required to grow with our fastest growing clients
Drive cross-functional collaboration to create new products and experiences
Design and implement the tools and processes required for scale
Support learning and career growth for the team providing consistent and clear feedback for all members of the team
Coach team on selling best practices and ensure the team is hitting sales targets
About You:
3+ years of managerial experience on a Sales and/or Success team, preferably in a high growth environment
6+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, or other related roles
Experience with building training programs, especially in complex or regulated industries
Passionate about coaching individuals to reach their full potential
Ability to deal with ambiguity and influence
Dependable, positive and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
Able to deal well with ambiguity and maintain composure in complex situations
Nice to have:
Experience working for and/or with venture-backed startups
Active/Current Property and Casualty License
Knowledge related to risk management and insurance
Prior experience working in a regulated industry
