POSITION SUMMARY: As the Director, Sales, you’ll manage a team of 5-6 account executives, reporting to the SVP. While knowledge of the data space is preferred, the key to success in this role is to be a charismatic sales leader who can refine the sales process to ensure your team is uncovering the prospect’s business issue and moving deals through the funnel. Being collaborative, supportive and innovative will help you succeed at Infutor. Your ‘New Logo’ team will be hunters, responsible for pipeline generation, and revenue creation across a broad portfolio; if a company utilizes data, they are likely a prospect. Experience selling to FinServe, AdTech, PropertyTech, and Insurance would be helpful, but we also sell to CPG, marketing firms and a broad range of verticals.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Formal sales methodology, in particular the Value Selling model is followed at Infutor; ideally, you are ‘Value Selling Coach’ certified, although this is not required. It is important that you are able to lead deal reviews with the AE’s to maximize performance and hasten the deal cycle.  
  • As a sales leader, you’ll nurture young AND experienced talent and be expected to be flexible on how and what advice you give to different team members. Our sale is a complex one, where multiple buyers and use cases are involved.
  • Selling internally is also important; you’ll be working with Sales Ops, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Finance - all departments - to help find creative solutions to meet our clients needs.
  • Our new Sales Manager will be organized and meticulous in managing the team pipeline. You’ll be curious and help us uncover and track market trends to exceed revenue goals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Consistent and quantifiable track record building, leading, and retaining teams which exceed established objectives, preferably at a startup or high-growth technology company
  • Proven communication, coaching, leadership and presentation skills, with references to support
  • Proven success navigating large organizations and ability to quickly identify the decision makers and decision-making process for large SaaS investments
  • Able to partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Operations, etc.to develop and execute a shared plan
  • A proven connector in daily life through networking, social media and other mediums
  • Up-to-date on digital and application trends, especially in the Martech and mobile space
  • Demonstrated performance leading a sales team with above quota performance
  • Formal sales methodology training eg Value Selling or Sandler 
  • Demonstrated performance in developing top talent and managing out poor performers
  • Experience using Gong, Salesforce Lightning and Clari would be a bonus as we use those tools to help coach team members and track our metrics.
  • Ideally, you have managed a team previously and also had direct sales experience in the data or SAAS world.
