Hello Director of Sales!

Freeosk Inc. is looking for a Director of Sales to navigate and steer the sales initiatives at one of our key retailers. As Director of Sales you will have the ability to identify and implement new strategic opportunities and avenues for growth through relational selling. You’ll be at the helm, guiding a sales team and working collaboratively with other leaders across the organization to drive the company towards our goals.

As Director of Sales, you’ll be interacting with and owning the relationships with some of our most important clients. Your goal is to listen to their business challenges to gain insights that will generate innovation of our products. You’ll use the knowledge you gain about what our clients want to craft and tailor our messaging so that we stay relevant and continue to meet their needs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Strategic Planning and Goal Setting

  • Build strategic plans and socialize cross-functional team leads
  • Develop a framework for pricing strategies and promotions
  • Create a sales activity plan that will drive a rich and diverse client pipeline, and activate a team to execute
  • Refine and apply KPIs to related sales pipeline and customer relationships

Relationship Building

  • Establish and nurture key client relationships at retailer headquarters, brand headquarters, and with brand’s local customer team that contribute to revenue

Sales Execution and Innovation

  • Continually shape product selling points and messaging to align with multiple client audiences
  • Understand competitive landscape and refine sales messaging and objection handling accordingly
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Creative teams to generate sales and client presentation materials
  • Architect and build content for workshops, learning sessions, quarterly reviews and kick-offs
  • Glean insights from clients to generate product innovation

Leadership

  • Manage performance goals and feedback for 5-8 account managers
  • Design and implement team’s operating rhythm
  • Develop sales team skills in key specialties such as customer need assessments and strategies for building customer relationships

Your skills, background, and experience include:

  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience
  • 5+ years of agency (traditional or digital), marketing services, CPG experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration
  • Established management methodology
  • Effectively work and lead while traveling; anticipate travel 2-3x/month
  • Effectively manage and motivate remote employees
