As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for generating revenue and optimizing the sales pipeline. Your main goals are growing the impact of the sales organization, scaling out the team, and capturing market value. You’ll work directly with product and marketing to figure out growth strategies and then execute with the team to reach your goals. As the head of the department, you have the opportunity to craft the culture of a highly productive and effective sales organization.

Who We Are

Printavo is an easy to use cloud-based tool for screen-printing, embroidery and sign shops to manage their business. You can think of us as project management software for the garment decoration industry. If you’ve ever ordered custom t-shirts it’s likely that our software was running the show at that shop. We’re a growing team located in Chicago, looking for the next Director of Sales to join and drive future growth.

You’re curious and practical when solving problems. You don’t get discouraged easily and create solutions for a larger vision. You are comfortable with learning quickly, making decisions, measuring outcomes and iterating.

What You’ll Do

  • Optimize and improve processes around sales and implementation of Printavo

  • Take a start-up sales team and turn it into a growth machine, working through current processes and new markets to deliver repeatable revenue growth

  • Recruit new team members for the sales and implementation team while coaching them to hit set goals

  • Leading our sales team to meet and exceed set sales goals

  • Work with marketing to optimize and improve revenue metrics

  • Develop & manage new channel partnerships to drive sales 

Your Skills

  • 5+ years of experience successfully managing employees in an SMB sales environment, preferably in the SaaS market

  • Successful track record working with SMB customers on a revenue-generating sales team

  • Innate curiosity to know what makes each of your Account Executives tick, and an insatiable need to help each of them succeed

  • Experience building sales-driving partnerships 

  • Customer obsession

  • Strong presentation and communication skills
