We’re looking for a Head of Global Sales Development with extensive sales and leadership experience who can help to rapidly scale the SDR team, while also preserving our collaborative culture. Front’s SDR program has two goals—generate qualified pipeline and develop sales development representatives’ careers. We care deeply about both goals. We have worked purposefully over the past year to increase the percentage of our new business revenue that comes from the outbound SDR team by partnering closely with our internal customers and Account Executives to generate high quality meetings and pipeline. We are looking for a leader to take those foundational efforts to the next level in an aggressive year of growth for Front. 


We are open to hiring in either San Francisco, Chicago or Dublin.

What will you be doing?

  • Scale the team to support our aggressive growth goals both in terms of size and geography, while maintaining a strong culture
  • Execute on vision to make the SDR team an incubator for Sales talent
  • Hire and develop a world class SDR leadership team that embodies Front’s values
  • Work with Sales Enablement to teach Front’s SDRs the science of prospecting and prepare them to move into their next roles
  • Drive execution through rigorous metrics and forecast management
  • Partner with sales and marketing leadership to ensure that the SD team is delivering on goals - both revenue and talent
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and sales operations to ensure alignment on your team’s strategy and execution
  • Lead by example - our Head of SD should set the standard, demonstrate the standard, and hold their team accountable to the standard. They should be a steward of Front’s values and ensure that their team embodies these values. 

What skills and experience do you need?

  • High potential leader with strong track record of success developing people, delivering on goals, and building teams in a high growth environment 
  • Closing experience and/or track record of exceeding quota
  • Experience building career development programs for high performing individual contributors
  • Salesforce and systems knowledge
  • Excellent project management skills
  • You find it second-nature working in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal & written)
  • The ability to explain the why behind the work the SD team is doing 
  • Aptitude to learn technical concepts/terms
  • Grit and a growth mindset
  • Experience in change management 

Other factors of consideration:

  • Prefer 5-7 years quota carrying sales experience, second line leadership, and global leadership
  • Experience with funnel management across multiple channels (inbound, upsell, outbound, marketing)
