The Role

As our client base has moved upstream to the middle market (and beyond with initial Enterprise pilots), we are seeking a motivated Inbound Account Executive who can turn the leads generated by our Marketing team into long-term clients. Your core responsibilities will be to manage an active and passive pipeline of inbound leads from businesses looking for Paro's services, understand their needs and goals, define the solution(s) and leveraging our proprietary AI - powered matching platform, you will precisely match them with the expertise needed to efficiently and profitably grow their business.

Core Responsibilities

  • Efficiently qualify and advance inbound leads through full cycle, exceeding resolution and engagement Service Level Agreements
  • Leverage a consultative selling approach to build relationships with business leaders to provide reliable Paro services to allow their companies to operate more effectively and profitably 
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, directly supported by inbound lead flow from the Marketing team and where applicable, light outbound efforts (understanding top priority is to manage inbound leads)
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers via Paro’s service offering(s)
  • Work towards meeting/exceeding monthly quota targets
  • Collaborate with Customer Success team to expand new business relationships during each client’s first 12 months on the Paro platform

How you’ll add value

  • 1-2 years of sales experience (full-cycle experience is preferred but not required)
  • Past/current top performance either professionally or academically
  • Consultative selling approach; Paro’s sales process is not transactional
  • Experience with various sales tools and CRMs (Salesforce preferred)
  • Ambition and the ability to build trust both internally and externally
  • Strong organizational skills in order to successfully manage your pipeline
  • Have professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess exceptional listening, presentation, and business strategy skills

Benefits at Paro

  • Compensation - The starting base salary for this position is $60,000 plus uncapped commissions, and equity options in Paro
  • Benefits - We offer a comprehensive benefits package including: medical (Blue Cross Blue Shield), dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan. Paro currently does not match 401(k).
  • Vacation - We offer our employees unlimited vacation, as we believe rest and recharging allows you to bring your full self into work. In addition to unlimited vacation, we observe all federal holidays and offer unique Paro Holidays during months there isn’t a federal holiday
  • Office Environment - We have a beautiful, relaxed office space in River North, steps away from public transportation. We love our pets and have a pet-friendly office for your furry friends as well.
