    Job Description:

    We are looking for an energetic, dynamic leader for our Inside Sales team.  The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for the development, management, and strategic utilization of the Inside Sales team. This person will oversee a team of inside sales representatives and drive their team hit monthly goals, as provided by the Director of Business Solutions.

     

    Responsibilities and Duties:

     

    Educational Requirements and Qualifications:

     

    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, or related discipline required with at least seven (7) years of experience in inside sales, and five (5) years of proven management skills and experience also required. A good understanding of competitive products and industry landscape is required. Strong analytical skills and previous customer service/customer-facing experience required. A strong competency in SalesForce and call campaign management is required.  A good understanding of TradeRev systems and user interface is required after hire. A competency in SalesForce is required.  10% estimated travel time required. Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.

    • Ensure proper follow-through on all directives, bulletins, and schedules from the EVP of TradeRev.
    • Build and manage a team that contacts partners through phone calls, email, texts, etc. to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company.
    • Ensure high-quality experience for all customers engaged by the inside sales team.
    • Work to continuously improve the team’s customer engagement while motivating them to achieve their budgets.
    • Work in partnership with the Director of Business Solutions and other departments to develop and execute strategic business plans.
    • Provide feedback and recommendations to the Director of Business Solutions.
    • Advocate client requests within the organization.  Resolve customer issues and complaints.
    • Maintain a strong working knowledge of operations and affiliated company activities.
    • Maintain an effective relationship and line of communication with Regional Sales Directors.
    • Assist the Business Solutions team in the management of strategic information and deployment of analysis for commercial customers.   
    • Identify opportunities and/or gaps to improve operations and our product.
    • Learn the product inside and out. Understand how the technology was created and why it exists.  
    • Understand the space TradeRev exists in, including all the Digital Mobile competitors in Canada and the US.
    • Hold all direct reports accountable to meet aggressive timelines and job responsibilities.

Location

Our Chicago office is located in River West on the North Branch of the Chicago River. We have free shuttles to major train stations and CTA lines.
