The Inside Sales Manager must possess strong leadership skills and demonstrate the ability to develop an effective sales strategy to ensure both short- and long-term goals are achieved. He or she must be able to create a positive, fun place to work in a fast-paced, demanding startup-like environment. Dealer Inspire was founded in 2010 as a full- service digital marketing agency catering to all industries but specializing in automotive. In ​2012 to fill a gap in the automotive website platform space we created a cutting edge website platform that offers dealers the ability to stand out from the crowd with our ability to customize to their needs!

We’ve quickly been recognized as the leader in the automotive space for out-of-the-box digital strategies as well as building beautiful responsive websites. We’re growing like crazy and having a blast along the way!

Job Description:

This position requires a highly motivated and coachable candidate, with knowledge of both digital marketing and the automotive industry. The Inside Sales Manager will recruit, hire, develop, and manage a specialized sales team. He or she will become an expert on the Dealer Inspire product offering and will be responsible for hands on training for the ISRs (live training, role playing, and call monitoring). In addition, the ISM must be able to work collaboratively with other teams to drive significant cross-sell, upsell opportunities. Your team will help drive adoption of our various products through cold calling, following up on incoming leads and working with the regions to uncover opportunities with current clients and special initiatives. Your team is expected to hit monthly sales goals.

Candidates must be open to taking direction, while also being driven to go above and beyond what is requested in order to crush monthly goals. Organization, time management and the hunger to succeed are key qualities.

The right candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Establish, quickly build up and manage the new ISR team
  • Set and track sales targets for your team
  • Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
  • Build and maintain an upbeat positive culture that inspires a sense of urgency, constant innovation and learning, and a strong sense of individual and team accountability
  • Collaborate with other departments on key initiatives including demand generation programs and customer acquisition strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of management experience of 6 or more direct reports
  • Minimum of 5 years in a quota carrying sales role with demonstrated achievement in meeting sales quota
  • Software sales experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape
  • At least three professional references
  • Self-motivator with a hunger to succeed
  • Must be a highly organized individual, who feels comfortable working inside of Salesforce
  • Team player is a MUST
