We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Manager to oversee and support our Sales Directors, who are responsible for driving opportunities from prospect to close in the SMB market segment. The Inside Sales Manager will establish objectives, prioritize accounts, monitor sales metrics, and support success for a team of approximately 12 sales professionals focused within specified verticals, including consumer package goods, retail, and durable goods. This role will require collaboration with various functional areas of the business, so it's essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. They should also be able to lead and motivate the sales team to achieve specific goals. This is a vital role to the company's overall growth strategy and the Inside Sales Manager will need to build a high-performance sales team to help drive growth of the Market Track business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team who drive the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and close across all product lines by working with clients, prospects, the Market Track account team, and Market Track's solution experts
  • Set and track sales targets for your team
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
  • Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
  • Prepare bi-monthly monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Build strong relationships with clients and prospective clients by creating trust and confidence.
  • Articulate and demonstrate the value of Market Track's solutions individually and as a unique set of connected capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven success as an Inside Sales Manager
  • At least 5 years of experience in new business sales or as an individual contributor
  • Proven record of strong sales results where the individual has met and/or exceeded annual goals and has been a valued contributor
  • Experience selling in market research, advertising, marketing, data services
  • Proven record of prospecting new clients or prospecting within existing clients at senior levels of organizations
  • Strong knowledge of sales process, including pipeline and priority organization
  • In-depth understanding of the sales administration process
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Teamwork oriented and problem-solving attitude
