ParkWhiz is looking for a Market Development Representative to sit in Chicago and help drive growth of our inventory coverage in the Midwest. What you'll be doing
- Digging into data to ensure ParkWhiz offers the best possible pricing and coverage in each market.
- Drive parking operator relationships at the ground level - making site visits weekly to gather intelligence and improve partnerships.
- Identify new partnership opportunities to expand inventory coverage in each geography.
- Find innovative ways to create value among operators besides increasing revenue.
- Work closely with Customer Experience, Product, Marketing, and Data to optimize experience for operator partners and our end users.
- Provide strategic recommendations and perspectives to partners that bring value and strengthen relationships - not just initially, but in perpetuity.
- Articulate and update partners on existing and new product offerings.
What you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree and interest in sales/account management.
- Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, be self-motivated, and have a record of exceeding goals and objectives.
- Ability to work under pressure in high visibility, fast-paced, and dynamic environments.
- Superior problem-solving skills and an inherent “will-to-win”.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service orientation with a proven ability to build trusted, long-term relationships as a subject matter expert to partners.
- Business acumen and data driven mentality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Customer Relationship Management tools.
