We’re a fast-growing, venture-backed startup led by seasoned entrepreneurs with high-growth experience in the SaaS, e-commerce and food industries.

We are building a nationwide sales organization with local market sales manager to target our core customer segment: established caterers, bakers, CPG brands, delivery kitchens, meal prep companies and other food producers with mid to high volume. 

About the Role

The Market Sales Manager is a 100% outbound sales role supported by dedicated business development and local market onboarding resources. As a successful Market Sales Manager, your primary responsibilities will include (though not be limited to) the following list.

Responsibilities:

  • Targeting and closing a pipeline of existing food businesses in your market including mid to high-volume caterers, bakers, CPG-brands, and other verticals.
  • Maximizing membership contract renewals.
  • Responding to qualified inbound sales leads via phone, email, in-person meetings and in-unit tours.
  • Partnering with Product, Marketing and Operations teams to ensure our solutions meet the needs of the market.
  • Synthesize and deduce trends in the market as well as deliver feedback internally to enhance Pilotworks' position in the shared food production infrastructure market.
  • Achieving and consistently exceeding monthly & quarterly sales goals.

Skills and Qualifications

  • An absolute self-starter: this role will require a significant amount of prospecting and hunting - how well you handle these aspects in a self-sufficient manner will largely determine how successful you can be in the role.
  • Proven track record selling contracted products to an outbound pipeline, going from prospecting through to close.
  • Intellect, passion, curiosity, hunger, grit, self-sufficiency, and a lack of self-entitlement
  • Experience communicating, presenting, and coordinating with C-level executives
