Litera is seeking a Regional Director, Sales to lead a team of Account Executives to drive new business growth in the North American law firm market. Reporting to our VP of Sales, Regional Directors are expected to understand the legal landscape and their assigned customer base, and drive a disciplined & structured sales process across their team in order to manage their region effectively. As a leader and a coach, Regional Directors are expected to motivate, foster professional growth and development, and ensure each individual team member is successful in meeting/exceeding their new revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coach, and mentor a team of 2-6 Account Executives
  • Develop a regional plan including sales initiatives to grow the business within the defined region
  • Build and cultivate customer relationships at multiple levels at law firms
  • Present company vision, direction and strategy to law firm leaders
  • Create and delivers effective presentations and proposals
  • Oversee the sales lifecycle for opportunities of all AEs in your team
  • Support Account Executives to close deals
  • Represent Litera at events to influence sales opportunities
  • Manage sales pipeline and provides timely and accurate sales forecasts
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting and sales activities within the company's systems including Salesforce
  • Interact with the Executive Management team to forecast revenue in a responsible way
  • Travel is required (50%+ of time)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ year of sales and/or sales management experience
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales quotas (for self and/or team)
  • Comfortable with being heavily depended on by others, and operating in a high-pressure results-based environment
  • Strong ability to handle customer objections
  • People management & leadership skills
  • Interdepartmental communication
  • Motivated by helping others to succeed
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
