The Retail Media Sales Account Manager will play an integral role supporting the Media Partnerships Sales team in the creation and execution of sales materials and reports. They will be responsible for handling sales team analytics requests as well as managing on going reports and trackers across the team. They will also play a key role in managing the implementation and execution of the 86+ vendors working with our Quotient sales team. Retail Media Sales Account Managers will proactively provide analysis of partnership programs that can be used to demonstrate to vendors on how the vendors can achieve their objectives including increased visibility, sales, brand trial and awareness through AD Retail Media plans. They will also work with the sales managers to develop and update strong selling materials to drive additional revenue.
Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the role
- As part of prospecting and new business development activity, research potential partners, participate in creative brainstorms and develop pitch materials to integrate partners into existing marketing activity / ‘tent-pole’ programs (e.g., seasonal splash pages) or fully custom executions as needed
- Efficiently employ resources from Creative Services, Analytics and Executive teams to pull and execute outstanding introductory meetings
- Work closely with the Media Partnerships Lead and Sales Managers, join pitch meetings to interface with and present to potential clients and partners
- Build and maintain a knowledge base of what is happening in the competitive landscape; provide insight and feedback to the broader team to inform future promotion or sponsorship opportunities
- Responsible for working with Operations team to ensure flawless implementation on partnership campaign activation.
- Serve as key contact with clients for issues on creative/programming materials for approval on or ahead of deadlines
- Work with Media Partnerships Lead and Sales Managers to drive delivery of tailored presentations for brand partners including annual joint business planning and quarterly updates
- Work closely with Operations and Merchandising teams to manage and address assortment, shipment and / or product related issues that impact implementation of programs (i.e., coordinate with Syndigo to ensure digital imagery promptly placed on site)
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the broader Media Partnership goals and priorities as well as key functional goals (e.g., Customer KPIs, Basket, etc.); proactively brainstorm new revenue-generating programs and sponsorship opportunities that support these broader goals
- Track performance of each campaign; ensuring that all tracking tools are in place before campaign launches
- Deliver recaps to each client and report internally so all parties understand the impact of each campaign

- 3-7years business partner account management experience required
- Solid project management and communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Experience in metrics and data analysis
- Ability to generate sales opportunity analyses, identify and execute on business opportunities
- Must have high attention to detail
- Superior writing skills
- Advanced knowledge Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel (V-look up, Pivot tables etc.)
- Ability to approach solutions to problems with creativity and flexibility
- Ability to manage in a constantly changing environment with the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated project management, communication (written, reading comprehension, listening, verbal) and teamwork skills
- Team player and proactive self-starter
- Comfortable juggling and coordinating multiple clients and projects across several key marketing channels simultaneously
- Proven ability to be resourceful, pro-active and innovative
- Creative thinker who can also be strategic
