About the position:

    As an Advisor, you will be one of the first point of contact for prospective AMOpportunities visitors. This position is responsible for advising customers and encouraging them to register for AMOpportunities clinical rotations. This individual is responsible for building the sales pipeline and processes from exploring possible education experiences to closing sales. This individual will also explore new channels to connect with the customer in order to provide the highest level of customer service possible. On occasion, this individual will collaborate with the Marketing department to identify opportunities to increase sales might be required.

Essential Functions:

  • Monitor and respond to prospective customer emails, messages, support tickets, live chat, and texts in a polite, friendly, and culturally sensitive manner
  • Develop, maintain, and build a customer base on existing platforms including, but not limited to, Zendesk, WhatsApp, and Calendly
  • Partner with AMO team members to qualify leads through customer engagement
  • Develop familiarity with program listings and advise customers on rotations that fit their interests/needs and our eligibility requirements
  • Assist other AMO support staff members to identify leads and close sales
  • Work with the marketing department to vet leads through social media channels
  • Initiate proactive outreach through incoming leads via email, phone, CRM, and Livechat/Facebook
  • Identify customer trends, provide feedback to management on customer preferences, demand, and pain points
  • Document and track potential sales leads
  • Build relationships with potential customers
  • Develop high-level familiarity with the U.S. and international Medical Education Systems
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Understands healthcare and medical education terminology, with the capacity and willingness to expand on this knowledge
  • Has a high level of written and oral communication skills and the ability to think creatively
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Previous experience in healthcare or educational fields
  • Administrative healthcare knowledge
  • Experience managing multiple tasks
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup culture
  • CRM software experience is a plus
