Starting with residential real estate, where 6% of all homes sold in the US last year had a Matterport 3D tour, the company has changed how people experience properties and is rapidly expanding in new markets like apartments, vacation rentals, hotels, business listings, event venues, and retail environments, as well as architecture, engineering, and construction.

We have an end-to-end system for creating, experiencing, and changing cloud-based immersive 3D models of real spaces. Our system will improve the way people experience and visualize physical spaces making it incredibly easy for anyone to move through real-world spaces as if they were there.

As our Manager of Sales, Residential Real Estate you will have the exciting opportunity to drive growth and shape the future of our emerging technology. Your responsibilities include building and managing our fast-growing, highly talented inside sales team focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration. The ideal candidate will possess a technology sales management background,  experience selling SaaS products and understanding of the Residential Real Estate industry a plus. Customers can be individuals, SMBs and enterprise customers. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to own, define, develop and execute account plans and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Management and direction of a growing inside sales team comprised of ISR’s.
  • Qualification, recruitment, and engagement of new team members
  • Qualify and deliver on sales opportunities and meet sales targets in a predictable way
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and participation in key trade shows, exhibits, and other industry events
  • Coordinate and deliver customer/partner training
  • Regular industry and sales specific training to enhance the team's skill set

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the real estate industry
  • Background in hardware or software sales, or both
  • Ability to nurture and develop a strong relationship with employees/customer/partners
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentations skills
  • Strong work ethic and high level of integrity
  • Salesforce knowledge is a must

Our office is located in the loop right off the Chicago River. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby along with multiple CTA options.
