Sales Manager - Salesforce Experience - Manage a Team!

Copado Sales Team seeks a proven, tactical and strategic Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives.  The successful Sales Manager will bring knowledge of the Salesforce Ecosystem and play a key role in generating revenue and achieving individual, team and organizational quotas.  You'll be a valuable contributor to sales strategy while providing definition and implementation to help Account Executives achieve corporate objectives.  You will have to hire, manage and grow the team.

The Sales Manager must proactively identify and manage new business sales opportunities in the segment and region assigned.  He or she must leverage an effective approach to drive awareness, build advocacy, engage in account planning and identify and manage new Sales opportunities by working proactively and collaboratively with our channel partners and supporting teams.  

As a Sales Manager, a typical day includes:

  • Supporting direct reports by participating and leading client and prospect meetings. Engage other corporate resources as required.
  • Ongoing mentorship and development of a sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new Account Executives on sales process.
  • Conducting weekly forecast meetings. Coach direct reports regarding strategies to drive closure.
  • Report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management.
  • Consistently monitor the sales activity of the team, and track the results.
  • Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales objectives.
  • Participating in all product, sales, process training, and certifications to develop the expertise of the Copado solution, vision, and strategy to effectively support your team.
  • Assuring that all sales activities are being tracked in the CRM system

This job is for you if 

  • 7+ years of software sales experience in an individual contributor and management role, including 3+ years sales management experience.
  • Experience in Salesforce ecosystem
  • Proven record of sales success in a software application
  • Successful track record in a high-volume transaction sales environment
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Ability to hire and train new sales representatives

Bonus points for: 

  • Previous experience with DevOps solutions.
