Workbox is seeking a full-time Sales Manager. The Sales Manager role is an important one in contributing to our continued growth in our home market of Chicago. This position requires a wide skill set including execution of the full sales cycle, top-of-the funnel pipeline management, and assistance in strategic partnerships and brand awareness. This position reports directly to the CEO and Director of Sales and will work closely with the Director of Business Development and Director of Marketing. 

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys networking, understands or is eager to learn more about the coworking sector, and wants to be part of an exciting entrepreneurial company. This is an in-office role based out of one of our four downtown Chicago coworking spaces.

In the first 30 days, you’ll: 

Work closely with the CEO and the Director of Business Development to learn our sales process, the services we provide to members, and all about the co-working industry.

In the first 60 days, you’ll: 

Shadow the Director of Business Development to learn how we sell co-working & accelerator memberships. You’ll get experience building and updating marketing campaigns for future prospects and get to know our members better to understand how Workbox supports them in their growth.

In 90 days, you’ll: 

  • Run tours independently & build relationships with new prospects
  • Drive top-of-the-funnel pipeline  
  • Identify and execute new strategic business development opportunities  
  • Prospect and pull qualified leads lists 
  • Work with marketing to create email sequences and implement strategies for outreach  
  • Assist in closing new deals and member renewals  

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to develop and foster new relationships that lead to pipeline growth  
  • Ability to create and execute successful outbound email sequences  
  • Experience with managing inbound leads  
  • Extraordinary organizational skills and attention to detail  
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite  
  • Uncanny ability to meet deadlines and get things done  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience or knowledge of the full sales cycle in the commercial real estate and/or co-working industry  
  • Experience with tools like Hubspot, Zoominfo, Apollo.io and Linkedin  
  • Strong writing and natural communication skills  
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
