Paro is seeking a driven sales manager who brings an extensive track record of building, scaling, and leading high-performing sales teams. Our sales team continues to grow aggressively, and we’re now looking for a rock star to shape our future success by forming and leading our second Account Executive team. Their scope of responsibilities will include hiring, coaching, and managing these individuals. The sales manager will also have an impact on Paro’s holistic sales strategy. The Sales Manager will report directly to Paro’s VP, Sales and regularly collaborate with stakeholders across all departments including sales, product, marketing, and operations. Who You Are
5-7 years of B2B sales experience, ideally with sales experience in the financial services sector, along with 3-5 years sales management/people leadership experience (Background in financial services, consulting, accounting, and/or bookkeeping is a plus!)

Think highly quantitatively with a focus on KPIs and reporting
Enjoy the recruiting and onboarding process, particularly as it relates to understanding candidates’ unique personalities, learning styles, goals and setting them up for success
Quickly understand new industries, business models, and market challenges and distill them into coaching opportunities with new reps resulting in creatively negotiated, win-win contracts
Comfort with outbound selling & coaching reps on outbound selling best practices
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial ambition to get the job done and comfortable with ambiguity and change
Maintain a professional demeanor complemented by excellent, clear & succinct verbal and written communication skills
Willing and able to roll up your sleeves and learn the ropes by closing your own deals.

Strong Salesforce competency; applied experience with Outreach.io is a plus

What You’ll Do
Serve on Paro’s Sales Leadership Team
Focus on hiring, onboarding and retaining Account Executive sales talent
Coach and manage Paro’s Account Executives (Note: These individuals will be a mix of new direct hires as well as Sales Development Representative (“SDR”) promoted to AE).
Remove roadblocks wherever possible for your team, including optimized sales processes and technical automation
Ensure Account Executives understand their goals, where their performance stands, and how they can improve
Proficiency managing a team of reps that work on-site and remotely, from time to time
Besides the new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) you conceptualize and operationalize, you’ll also be responsible for:
New business revenue growth
Account Executive ramp-up time
Proportion of new business driven by Account Executive prospecting (i.e. beyond inbound leads and meetings set by SDRs)
New clients added
Comfort managing through all types of conversations including, celebrations of wins, holding team members accountable and giving difficult feedback to those who are not meeting expectations
