Summary

The Sales Operations Manager will be a key contributor to managing and overseeing the key functions that will enable the sales organization to be more effective and efficient: planning, enablement, execution, and performance. This includes ownership of the sales process, rules of engagement, reporting, dashboards, sales tools, pipeline management, CRM, territory allocation, sales support and thought partner to comp design, training, and territory allocation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage Business Operations

  • Establish strong working relationship with sales leaders, marketing, and cross-functional teams to achieve objectives
  • Manage strategic alignment with sales and marketing strategy
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions that drive performance
  • Manage Salesforce optimization and evaluate business needs
  • Understand KPI’s and the reporting needs to evaluate and measure performance
  • Manage sales pipeline and implement best practices to manage potential customer relationships

Manage Employee Performance

  • Retain, motivate and recognize employees
  • Oversee employee performance
  • Coach, train, and develop employee performance
  • Evaluate performance and conducts performance reviews
  • Recommends promotions and transfers
  • Manage the performance improvement plan process

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum of five years solid leadership experience
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory and management experience
  • Minimum of three years of sales experience
  • Marketing experience is a plus
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Project management is a plus

Skills:

  • Extremely well-organized, detailed oriented, solution-driven, with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Excellent execution capability that focuses on results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong working knowledge of business processes and practices
  • Strong management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Proven track record of delivering results.
