Senior Account Strategist

Overview:

Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full-service interactive advertising agency, is looking to hire an Senior Account Strategist . We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated and tenacious individual that is excited about getting involved in an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base.

Summary and Scope

The primary job is to identify and develop growth while supporting relationship expansion throughout the marketing organizations of our clients, understanding the direction of where their business wants to go and advising them on a strategy to exceed those goals. The secondary job requires mastery of internal Rise process ensuring proper support and management of account opportunities. He/she will work in conjunction with one or multiple Principals, the Project Management, and the Account Management team, to identify opportunities to increase revenue for identified Rise clients.

This individual must have a strong understanding of how to leverage the Rise’s capabilities (strategy, data and insights and channel experts) to bring innovative marketing solutions to Rise Interactive's clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage all sources of information to understand the business direction of our clients. This includes news reports, online research, SEC filings and other sources of data.
  • Synthesize that data, combined with the knowledge of the internal Rise team and with the client into strategies and campaign ideas going forward.
  • Effectively communicate those strategies internally with identified partners as well as at the management and director level of the client, working in a consultative fashion to develop and execute those strategies.
  • Develop relationships across business units and functional areas within the client.
  • Further develop mastery of digital marketing and client service skills demonstrating command of Rise’s services
  • show excellence as individual contributors will be given increasing leadership opportunities enabling upward momentum and sole management of growing accounts as well as larger leadership roles at key major accounts.

Required Skills:

  • 2-3 years of sales experience
  • 1-2 years of related digital marketing experience
  • Exceptional research, analytic, presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Experience with developing Marketing strategy in a digital environment
  • Strategic and creative thinker with proven consulting skills -- always focusing on innovative, but measurable client solutions
  • Ability to identify opportunities for organic growth of accounts via introducing existing or new channels
  • Superior oral, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Self -motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations
  • Extremely ambitious and hardworking; results driven and detailed oriented
  • High competency level in PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Candidate must be open to substantial travel
