InfoScout is looking for a Senior Director and Sales Team Leader for our Agency and Advertising Effectiveness business. InfoScout has developed a solution suite to measure advertising effectiveness, which is sold to both Marketing and Media Agencies, as well as Consumer Product Manufacturers. The ideal candidate will be a proven sales hunter, with the ability to lead and grow a team of sales executives focused on growing InfoScout's business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead sales efforts with assigned Agency and CPG Manufacturer accounts
    • Close new business for assigned accounts by selling our suite of solutions designed to help agencies and CPG manufacturers profile, target, and measure advertising effectiveness (land)
    • Manage and grow existing Agency relationships, ensuring the renewal of annual subscriptions and selling in new solutions (expand)
    • Establish senior level relationships with assigned accounts to ensure that InfoScout is considered a trusted partner who adds significant value to both Agencies and CPG manufacturers (scale)
  • Manage and Build a growing team of Sales executives, focused on ad effectiveness solution sales to Agencies and CPG Manufacturers
    • Manage existing Agency and Ad Effectiveness sales team to ensure that quota objectives are being met, career development plans are in place, and coaching for continuous performance improvement
    • Responsible for sales training and enablement for the Agency and Ad Effectiveness sales team
    • Recruit and hire a "best in class" sales team
  • Develop and enhance the go to market strategy for Agencies and Ad Effectiveness solutions
    • Work with VP of Sales and product team to identify total market opportunity for Ad Effectiveness and Agencies, as well as solution enhancements that increase value to our customers and grow revenue for InfoScout
    • Manage and develop partnerships with data providers that will enhance InfoScout's product offering in the Ad Effectiveness space. These include relationships with DMP/DSP providers, social media clients, and data partners.
    • Design strategies and incentive plans that facilitate revenue growth for both Agencies and CPG manufacturers
  • Passionate hunter with enterprise sales experience, with particular emphasis on building new relationships and opening new accounts with Agencies and CPG Manufacturers
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a timely manner, including consecutively exceeding past sales quotas
  • Deep understanding of multiple facets of audience targeting and media measurement with prior experience selling into CPG Manufacturer brand marketers, as well as marketing and media agencies
  • Deep understanding of the sales process with the ability to engage senior level executives in strategic meetings to ensure top down alignment regarding strategy and objectives
  • Skilled at building and managing customer relationships, including stakeholder management
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of household panel data (NPD, Nielsen and/or IRI) is a plus
  • Microsoft Office expertise (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)

Experience Required 

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree (preferred) with 5+ years relevant experience
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of software sales experience, selling into consumer products and agencies, in the functional areas of Brand Marketing, Market Research, & Consumer Insights
  • Working knowledge of Nielsen or IRI data/solutions is a plus
  • Working knowledge of enterprise software applications and services designed for the retail and consumer goods industries is highly valued
  • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence software such as Microstrategy, Tableau, QlikView, or Business Objects
  • Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com and its use for updating accounts, opportunities, and deal stages

Location

  • U.S. based – Chicago or New York is highly preferred
