Senior Manager, Account Management

What you’ll do when you get here:

  • Manage a team of Account Managers and Customer Operations Reps
  • Set and achieve goals for the AM team that align with Shipwell’s company wide strategy and OKRs.
  • Drive continuous improvement & efficiency of the Account Management Org though both process and product improvements
  • Coach and develop your team to identify opportunities to leverage Shipwell’s solutions across modes and services and provide world class service and communication.
  • Forecast and plan for growth by using external and internal tools.
  • Effectively manage multiple demands and competing priorities to ensure account goals are achieved 
  • Use reporting & analytics to drive improvement and measure and understand every facet of your team's performance and accounts.


What you need to have:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years previous Logistics Account Management experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Leadership ability and the desire to grow and develop teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Proven ability to use Analytics/Data to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Dynamic, on the fly, problem solving skills
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to travel


What is Strongly Preferred:

  • Previous experience using Salesforce
  • Project Management Experience
