The opportunity:
Over 1 million users have been active across 6,000 apps created on the SpotMe platform during the last twelve months, positioning SpotMe as a System of Engagement (SoE) at the crossroads of event tech, HR tech, and Martech.
Our enterprise client base is prioritizing automation, integration and data compliance. SpotMe is at a critical moment in its history and we are looking for a Solution Architect to be a key member of our Customer Success team. This role is an essential part in managing our client onboarding and integration within their infrastructure.
We are looking for an individual able to influence at all levels of the SpotMe and client organizations, with a strong technical acumen and capacity to translate complex constraints into scalable business solutions, as well as outstanding client-facing skills. You will work closely with Customer Success Managers to support engagement and adoption. You will be the primary technical point of contact driving our integration and API strategy with the goal of enhancing user experience, increasing automation and ultimately helping clients derive additional value from the SpotMe solution.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Customer Success Manager to support successful onboarding for platform customers
- Own and manage technical aspects of platform implementations
- Conduct technical discoveries to analyze workflows and business needs; develop technical scopings and proof of concepts
- Be the customer technical subject matter expert for integration-related topics, authentication, security, compliance and extension requirements
- Define app container publishing strategies: process, tasks, flow and interlocks with engineering department, as well as integrations with 3rd parties including Apple, Google and mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management vendors
- Drive app container publishing
- Work closely with support team and facilitate internal escalations to engineering team (L3) of incidents to comply with SLA
- Create and maintain client documentations tracking features adoption, maintenance and technical details.
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to understand end-user requirements and translate them into a pragmatic and effective technical solution and to improve and develop features and product architectures
- Work with developers, product managers, designers, and QA
Requirements:
- BSc in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a SaaS software engineering environment as Solution Architect for complex integration projects.
- Experience in leading projects and facing customers
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of the organization (leadership, services, sales, marketing, product and engineering)
- Courage to handle difficult technical discussions and patience to build consensus among multiple stakeholders
- Proven experience with Enterprise and information systems integrations
- Ability to understand business requirements and map to technical implementation
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and juggle several assignments simultaneously
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum
- Strong IT security and data privacy knowledge (e.g. GDPR)
- Proven experience in handling SSO integrations e.g. with SAML, OpenId Connect, OAuth2, …
- Professional experience in handling system integrations through data API’s (e.g. HTTP, REST, SOAP, …)
- Excellent knowledge of data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, flat file and so on.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to explain complex problems in simple terms
