About the Role

The Solution Consultant Manager for building out our pre-sales infrastructure and team. This team is responsible for demonstrating the value of the Shipwell platform to prospective clients. This individual thrives under pressure and enjoys solving complex problems. In this role you will be responsible for:


  • Collaborating with the sales team members to navigate and solve complex sales environments.
  • Evaluate and identify customer opportunities to leverage the Shipwell platform to solve complex supply-chain problems.
  • Help the prospective client achieve the desired value through a thorough discovery framework
  • Have the ability to see around corners to ensure a successful implementation and hand-off to implementation and customer success
  • Interact with multiple customer stakeholders to maximize customer value across departments
  • Build and deliver thoughtful and compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to C-level executives
  • Develop consistent processes, journaling, and scoping during the discovery process to ensure a proper handoff to the implementation team
  • Develop a solid and repeatable framework for demonstrating and delivering ROI and SOW to client executives
  • Be a conduit to product to identify customer needs and product gaps
  • Work cross-functionally with internal sales, marketing, product, and implementation teams to drive continuous improvement and product development


What You’ll Need

The prospective candidate will have the following experience:

  • 10+ years of pre-sales experience with SaaS or Managed TMS dealing with C-level executives
  • Supply chain and TMS experience a must; preferably with TMS providers
  • Bachelor Degree in marketing, computer science, statistics or other related fields
  • Understanding of CRM and sales process
  • A can-do attitude that enjoys building
  • Customer obsession
  • Ability to think critically
  • Proficient at Excel, SFDC, LMS platforms, Google Suite, Tableau, or Looker
