The Relativity Strategy & Business Operations Team is responsible for driving our long-term strategy, owns our execution framework, and works on our most critical strategic and operational challenges.

As a Strategy Associate with Focus on Customer related strategies and tactics, you will work directly with the VP of Strategy and Operations, Chief of Staff to the COO, and closely with the rest of the C-level team. Your work will include strategic and operational projects, including supporting Chief of Staff to the COO in improving the way Customer Group works. A key component of all your activities and projects will be adding rigor, analytics, and structure to all projects. You will be exposed to all aspects of the business by working closely with the Executive Team.

Your success will be dependent on your strong problem-solving skills, manage multiple priorities, ability to anticipate needs and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. This position requires outstanding communication and follow up, analytical ability, interpersonal and organizational skills. Someone in this role must be self-motivated and possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and will be tasked with making sound judgement with discretion and respect to confidentiality.

Role Responsibilities

  • Own the development of strategic and operational projects related to the Customer Group to drive growth and continues improvement, from developing frameworks through execution and ongoing management (50% of time)
  • Own and support development and maintain Customer Group long-term business strategies (e.g., Go to Market, Market Adjacencies, Customer-Specific Initiatives)
  • Find, execute, and rollout solutions for small to midsized urgent strategic and tactical projects within the Customer Group (e.g. tactical pricing change for Analytics; Fest attendance forecasting; etc.)
  • Conduct research and coordinate with other teams and external vendors to gather key inputs to strategic planning process: facts, assumptions, customer feedback, competitive and market dynamics
  • Own and Support Customer Group strategy and operational activities (50% of time)
  • Collaborate with Chief of Staff to design and execute select strategic planning processes within Customer Group
  • Own metric scorecards and monthly review
  • Develop approach and supporting analyses for weekly operational, monthly strategic, and off-site Customer Group strategic meetings
  • Work directly with Customer Group leadership (COO, Head of Sales, Head of Marketing, etc.) to provide meeting and communication support for internal teams, customers, and all Relativity (e.g. emails, presentations, decks, communication plans)
  • Collaborate across functions (sales, finance, etc.) to coordinate or support additional operational needs
  • Provide consultative input and thoughts on opportunities for improvement, org design, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to independently multi-task, efficiently prioritize tasks, and drive projects to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly when facing problems and ability to translate knowledge to new situations
  • Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and across a variety of cultures
  • Strong work ethic and integrity to handle confidential/sensitive information
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently

  • Travel up to 20%

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years in a professional services role or similar field
  • Knowledge of or interest in technology industry preferred
  • Management consulting experience preferred
