Technical Sales Analyst- Renewable Energy

What You Do:
As a Technical Sales Analyst, you will support the Renewable Energy team across the commercialization process, from developing go-to-market strategies for renewables' software solutions to helping to connect the operational pain of potential customers with the value delivered by our products.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze prospective Renewable Energy customers’ strategic objectives to develop business cases and account plans
- Provide strategic support for sales activity, including research, analysis, and creation of pitch, marketing, and commercialization materials
- Support strategies to assess and qualify inbound prospect inquiries; to attract, capture, and cultivate customers; and to strengthen existing and potential customer relationships
- Perform research on industry and competitive trends, including market sizing, M&A and partnership opportunity analysis, to inform sales and marketing tactics
- Support ongoing business planning and marketing activity, including financial model and forecasts, growth opportunities, competitive positioning, customer segmentation, and pricing analysis
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be an independent thinker comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a rapidly expanding technology organization.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 2-4 years of strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy experience
- Energy industry experience
- Experience creating and delivering compelling presentations and pitch decks for executive audiences
- Problem solver with strong qualitative and quantitative analytical ability, including financial modeling experience
- Strong understanding of concepts and technologies behind big data and predictive analytics, predictive maintenance, and the Industrial Internet of Things
Preferred:
- Wind power experience
- Driven self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision and learn new concepts and domains quickly
- A collaborative mindset, and a record of building successful relationships with colleagues and customers
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
