Who we are:

Guaranteed Rate is not your typical company and certainly not your typical mortgage company. We are young, have tons of energy and our location rocks – right off the brown line. No really, the train rumbles past our windows. Our home base is an old textile building that’s been turned into a hip office with exposed brick and duct work, windows we can actually open during the summer and an open floor plan – no cubicle life here. Guaranteed Rate is looking for a new Underwriting Coordinator to join their team! 
 

Responsibilities:

• Assign loans based on specific values to appropriately authorized underwriters.
• Determine what our turn time is based on files assigned but not underwritten.
• Track loans that are underwritten by outside MI companies.
• Track loans that are underwritten directly by the investor.
• Track movement of loans through underwriting pipeline.
• Track data pertaining to assignment of MI files.

Qualifications:

• Self-directed with a strong desire to learn and be a member of an innovative winning team
• Excellent disposition, mindset and work ethic
• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong listening, problem solving skills and out of box thinking
• Commitment to integrity and customer service
• Exceptional communication skills with desire to help build relationships with Borrowers and Realtors
