Vice President of Business Development
The Vice President of Business Development will expand Bounteous' relationships into new territory, focusing on design-first opportunities within the digital transformation space. You will represent award-winning team who creates rich, relevant customer experiences that drive results. Drawing from our expertise in strategy, design, engineering, analytics, and marketing, we work in a way that considers the whole business for the long term. Other focuses for this role include:
Role and Responsibilities
- Partner with internal teams like creative strategists and leadership to generate connections and identify opportunities to solution for clients
- Concentrate on the development of a winning strategy and work through a detailed solution that includes resource utilization planning for the project prior to the pursuit
- Lead every stage of the business development funnel: initial engagement, needs assessment, opportunity framing, qualification and proposal creation
- Achieve annual revenue target of $4-5M (with a first year target of $1.5M) in new business contracted sales; with a focused effort in Fortune 1000 client base.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 7 years successfully selling million-dollar plus deals against an individual quota/target for an eBusiness systems integrator, eCommerce provider or digital agency
- Minimum 5 years developing, maintaining and obtaining meetings with new and existing C-level relationships
- Demonstrable understanding of technical, creative and development project lifecycles, specifically for digital solutions
- Experience with Office Suite Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Outstanding verbal communication skills, candidate must be authentic, disciplined and persuasive, and comfortable presenting to executive level audience in marketing and technology
- Exceptional written communication skills, candidate must be able to craft persuasive and polished proposal copy and written communications
- Outstanding listening skills, candidate must be able to listen for client pain, unspoken objections and develop insights into win strategies
