Vice President, Sales
Description
As part of the SurePayroll Leadership Team, the Vice President, Sales - SurePayroll is responsible for the development, direction, and successful execution of strategy related to sales and business development across all SurePayroll customer channels and in alignment with overall enterprise-wide strategy.
Responsibilities
Partners with peers on the SurePayroll Leadership Team to set overall fiscal year and future strategy for the organization.
Develops, executes, monitors and adjusts SurePayroll sales and business development strategy across all channels to achieve business growth objectives.
Partners with Paychex Sales and other corporate organizations to ensure that alignment and complementary strategies and processes exist to enable mutual success.
Develops, analyzes, and ensures adherence to departmental budget, quota, and operating plan.
Partners crossfunctionally to monitor attainment vs. forecast and overall business performance. Analyzes root causes of variances and develops a response strategy.
Provides strategic input on business project prioritization. Participates in strategic and tactical planning meetings to create and execute effectively integrated bestin-class sales, product, and marketing practices.
Recruits, selects and develops talent across the sales organization to maximize engagement, minimize turnover, promote career path growth, and develop bench strength across the enterprise.
Leads, directs, and develops SurePayroll DSMs in technical knowledge, competitive knowledge, sales and management skills to ensure inside sales activities drive the achievement of key metrics and company financial goals.

Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration.
- Experience must be in second level sales management.
- 5 years of experience in Marketing or sales or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
