Role overview

As a Sr. Digital Marketing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and enhancing our clients' digital marketing strategies through in-depth analysis of their Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementations. Your expertise will guide our clients towards effective conversion tracking, strategic data collection practices, and insightful performance reporting. By collaborating closely with product managers, account managers, and strategists, you will uncover new service opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to maximize our clients' digital marketing efforts.

What you'll be doing

• Evaluate current Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementations for clients and advise on necessary adjustments. Develop a future state implementation strategy for Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager that aligns with client objectives.
• Implement and optimize conversion tracking mechanisms to accurately measure and report on client performance metrics.
• Create and manage comprehensive client reports and dashboards using worksheets and PowerPoint decks to highlight key performance indicators and insights.
• Assist peers with client performance queries and data-related issues.
• Work collaboratively with product managers and account managers to identify potential additional service offerings.
• Partner with strategists to analyze current and prospective clients' performance data, delivering recommendations to drive strategic decisions based on those analyses.
• Advise on and support the implementation of data-collection best practices, including cross-domain tracking, to ensure accurate and comprehensive data gathering.
• Provide occasional strategic guidance and training to product managers, focusing on the interpretation and generation of complex reports and the analysis of client performance data.

What you'll need to be successful (Requirements)

• Proven experience in digital marketing analysis, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage projects and priorities.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering data-driven marketing solutions.

Bonus Points for these (Preferred Experience)

• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager certifications
• Experience with other analytics platforms and digital marketing tools
• Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and social media analytics
