Paid Search, Senior Manager
Responsibilities:
- Determine areas of potential growth and optimization within well-established Paid Search accounts according to seasonality, industry updates and a dynamic live event calendar
- Synthesize campaign performance data from multiple sources to gain insights, identify trends and make strategic recommendations to improve PPC program efficiency and scale
- Consistently provide direct reports with constructive feedback, opportunities to grow individual skill sets, and coaching on industry best practices; tailor approach and delivery based in individuals’ strengths and skill levels
- Estimate potential impact of various initiatives and communicate priorities accordingly
- Identify opportunities to streamline day-to-day processes and improve department productivity
- Inspire a team dynamic that celebrates individual as well as departmental growth
- Effectively communicate goals and initiatives with dedicated account management teams at our search engine partners (Google, Bing & more)
- Conduct competitive and industry research to stay current with market trends and digital advertising strategies
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience (8+ preferred) in Search Engine Marketing in e-commerce, B2C industries
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing marketing teams consisting of individuals at various stages of their careers
- A Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Expert-level understanding of AdWords platform and SEM best practices
- Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills; able to maintain a detailed project plan with a high level of accuracy
- Robust analytical mindset with the ability to manipulate and interpret program performance data accurately; ability to weigh costs and benefits to make data-driven decisions
- Technologically savvy, quick learner with outstanding Excel skills
- Ability to prioritize top-level departmental goals while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive, energetic personality; strives to learn new skills and share knowledge with team
