The Role

The Role:
The People & Culture team is seeking an outstanding senior project manager to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter who can work effectively in a highly collaborative global team setting. The senior project manager will manage projects that impact our business unit and span across the organization. You will be responsible for a portfolio of complex projects and operations tasks working closely with our global teams across People & Culture. This position is based in our Chicago office.
What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and manage project roadmaps by collaborating with stakeholders
  • Understand business needs and dependencies, continuously identify areas of improvement
  • Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues to conclusion, defining appropriate risk mitigation and contingency plans
  • Ensure senior stakeholders are in alignment with our strategy through coordination of executive leadership updates and governance meetings
  • Develop and report on KPIs related to projects
  • Develop and maintain processes to drive global standardization and adoption of best practices for project activities
  • Facilitate project retrospectives outlining key lessons learned, parking lot items and the action plan to handle them


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and maintain project plans as well as prioritize issues based on their relative risk
  • A demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently in various stages
  • Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced, complex environment with the ability to keep the team focused on business objectives
  • Effective in promoting a collaborative environment with global cross-functional teams
  • Effective at creating and communicating project reports including status reports
