ServiceNow Platform Team Leader
Remote-Eastern Time Zone Preferred
Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Candidates for this position must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Time on-site or time zone may be necessary based on business need.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Team Lead with a strong desire to lead a skilled agile team with focus on the ServiceNow Platform. Their leadership ensures that teams create and maintain the web-based enterprise service management software-as-a-service which is the foundation of CSC's technology services.
You would be part of a distributed, remote team and collaborate daily to deliver value to our internal customers. In this position, you will oversee all technical operations and development and manage our platform development team. You will work collaboratively with the ServiceNow Platform Owner, the development team, and various stakeholders within the organization to ensure the delivery of all ServiceNow platform work in an efficient, timely manner.
Some of the things you'll be doing:

  • Lead ServiceNow Platform administration and development team, including coordination and functional leadership of individual contributors and team activities
  • Organize and facilitate Agile workflow management process through daily stand-up meetings, reviews, lessons learned, sprint and release planning, demos, etc.
  • Gain and maintain a detailed understanding of business drivers, Enterprise Technology strategic goals and ServiceNow platform capabilities to achieve goals; be able to prioritize Platform deliverables based on these goals
  • Leverage the ServiceNow platform for work administration and reporting
  • Deliver on ServiceNow Product Management process improvements; assist in co-owning Product Roadmaps and delivering on Product Roadmaps
  • Collaborate across stakeholder groups and own prioritization of Platform backlog in accordance with ET and customer goals
  • Create and maintain backlog of Platform roadmap work and technical debt remediation; weigh Platform work alongside stakeholder requests
  • Foster transparency and visibility of Platform priorities - including backlog, current workstreams, and upcoming priorities
  • Monitor and report on progress of all team responsibilities - project tasks, operational queues, and development stories
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks to delivery
  • Manage twice annual Platform compliance upgrades
  • Provide guidance and insight to upper management on continual improvement opportunities within the Platform entitlements
  • Own ServiceNow Platform user facing Knowledge materials; consistently keeping up to date and focused on platform customer capability and experience
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary


What technical skills, qualifications, and experience do you need?

  • At least three years of previous Agile Product Management and/or Scrum Manager experience within a software development environment
  • ServiceNow experience preferred
  • Self-motivated, Agile, and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks
  • Drive and ability to remove obstacles for team success.
  • Understanding and ability to foster an environment of inclusion, motivation and dedication
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), CMDB, and ITSM
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
