Job Duties
Research, design, and develop computer and network software. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Support the Product and Technology Department by managing day-to-day activities within the organization’s software development function. Serve as part of agile development team building and working on enterprise grade software. Design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and support applications and systems software. Establish functional requirements and review solutions to ensure organizational goals are met. Select and oversee
implementation of one or more software development methodologies. Develop short- and long-term product roadmaps to ensure continuous improvement. Collect and document user requirements, develop user stories, and estimates.
May telecommute.
Job Requirements
Requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Information Technology, or related field, and experience in a related occupation (one year with Master’s degree or three years with Bachelor’s degree).
Must include some experience in each of the following:
1) Working with the following OOP concepts: inheritance, encapsulation, polymorphism, and abstraction.
2) Relational database design and querying using entity-relationship modeling, normalization, SQL, joins, indexes, and transactions.
3) Developing .NET using C# or JAVA.
4) Developing web pages using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
5) Creating client and service applications using JavaScript, C#, Restful APIs, and microservice architecture.
6) Working with Scrum Agile methodology to develop applications.
7) Using unit testing theory to ensure code quality, identify bugs, and achieve reliable and maintainable software.
