Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $150,700 - $200,900
Zone B: $135,600 - $180,800
Zone C: $125,100 - $166,700
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Atlassian is looking for a passionate Sr. Demand Generation Content Manager to support our sales and campaign teams across the Atlassian portfolio of products. Our products help teams plan and track, build, and collaborate across IT Service Management, Agile & DevOps, and Work Management.
As the Sr. Demand Generation Content Manager, you will develop and execute full-funnel, multi-channel content and campaign assets focused on driving customer acquisition, activation, and expansion. In this role, you'll partner with teams across Customer Lifecycle Marketing, Product Marketing, Events, and Sales to craft and repurpose assets, and experiment with different channels and formats to fuel campaigns and programs throughout the audience journey.
This person must be adept at working across multiple marketing crafts and audiences, with a knack for connecting the dots across an integrated content and campaign strategy.
What you'll do:

  • Partner with Product Marketing to map content and narratives to fuel campaigns
  • Partner with Customer Lifecycle Marketing to advise on new channels, map assets to channels, and advise on best practices for assets in each channel
  • Partner with SEO to ensure SEO strategy is aligned across PMM and CLM
  • Partner with Events Marketing on content strategy and execution for owned events and field events
  • Contribute to asset creation and repurposing across written and digital formats
  • Where relevant, contribute to sales enablement (social selling, sales outreach sequences, account-based marketing programs)
  • Manage processes and tools for asset creation, shelf life extension, and sunsetting as needed, create frameworks and workflows to help us scale content across the organization
  • Key point-of-contact for creative agencies, manage budget for asset creation, ensure deliverables meet internal standards
  • Report on performance and make data-driven recommendations about content priorities, investments, and experiments


On your first day, we'll expect you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in content marketing and demand generation
  • Strategy and execution experience in content marketing, including social media, writing/editing, long-form and short-form content
  • Strategy and execution experience in demand generation, including content for lead magnets, campaign funnels and lead scoring, personalized nurture journeys, and sales enablement
  • Experience in SaaS or other technical industries, ability to pick up complex topics
  • Bonus: experience incorporating AI into workflows
