HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Sr. Scrum Master will help lead and drive Agile/Scrum frameworks that result in quality product delivery and realization of defined product roadmaps. This role is a primary point of contact for the Scrum Team, responsible for planning and facilitating all Agile ceremonies, and supporting the team in delivering incremental value each sprint while continuing to drive towards a defined product vision. The incumbent must be able to identify and remove impediments and external distractions, ensure the team has the necessary tools and resources to rapidly respond to change, and create an environment of collaboration to help the team achieve long-term success.
This role will be a direct interface to many senior- and executive-level business and technical partners and must develop strong working relationships with all resources to ensure successful delivery, continuous improvement, and overall adoption within the firm.

  • Be a champion and thought leader for continuous improvement activities and further maturation of the firm's Agile transformation and adoption
  • Ensure Scrum Team actions are aligned with defined Strategic Initiatives, vision, and goals of the firm
  • Foster an environment of Scrum Team self-organization and accountability
  • Lead and manage all Scrum related ceremonies from Backlog Grooming and Sprint Planning through Delivery and Retrospectives
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to execution
  • Lead and direct internal, consultant, and vendor resources throughout various stages of delivery
  • Help define a consistent playbook of Scrum ceremonies and ensure compliance within and across Scrum Teams
  • Coach and support Product Owners in ongoing Backlog Grooming techniques and best practices
  • Participate in the evaluation and project prioritization process, including the development of business cases, cost/benefit analysis, ROI, and related materials
  • Participate and/or lead the analysis and documentation of complex process workflows, future-state conceptual system designs, user interfaces, and similar components
  • Track, monitor, and report on velocity, realized project value versus budget, and overall status for technology portfolios and assume overall delivery responsibility for a defined portfolio of projects
  • Proactively identify issues, risks, and other impediments and act as the IT liaison between technical and business resources to help mitigate and manage to closure
  • Assist in the development and continuous refinement of the firm's PMO, and advocate and observe best practices to help improve and maintain Project Management professionalism
  • Other duties as assigned


IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, or related field
  • Certifications: SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, CSM, PMP, or similar certification with a preference towards Agile
  • 4-7 years of applicable experience
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated leadership experience
  • Demonstrated Agile background and proven experience implementing Agile and/or Hybrid methodologies
  • Proven experience leading business and technical resources, including vendors and consultants
  • Advanced working knowledge of Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or similar tools with emphasis on Agile ceremonies
  • Ability to operate effectively and easily transition between strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Self-motivated leader, able to manage complex cross-functional projects with minimal direction
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Proven experience preparing, presenting, and maintaining required documentation and artifacts.
  • Proven experience developing training materials and in training end-users on new procedures and applications
